Design Build: We do it all from beginning to the end

At Hartman Construction company, we prefer Design Build solutions for home additions, kitchens and bathrooms. That means that we provide free upfront design and ideas for the complete project. Then we can provide architectural plans and permits to meet the local county codes and do the job from start to finish 100%. We provide the customer with local show rooms that they can visit to see first hand the cabinets, flooring and such items that they will have to choose to complete their project.

We can complete every phase of the project from beginning to finish: layout, excavation, pouring the footings, laying the block foundations, pouring the concrete slabs, installing the sub floors, erecting the walls, roofs, installing the windows and doors, siding, gutters and downspouts, to interior insulation, hanging and finishing the drywall, installing the trim, painting, installing the floor finishes, carpet, hardwood, sheet goods and ceramic or marble tiles. We will also take care of any electrical, plumbing and mechanical aspects necessary to complete the job.

Specialty residential construction

Hartman Construction can also do speciality items for your home in such as decks with hot tubs. We build stone or brick patios and even custom driveways. We also build screened in porches tailored to your specific design needs.

Residential remodeling

When it comes to remodeling, Hartman builders specialize in re-designing the existing kitchen layout. This might mean taking a wall out or many walls out, enlarging the kitchen to include an island area with multiple bar seats. Quite often we install recessed lighting to add to the ambiance of the area.

Bathrooms

When most people think of remodeling their bathroom, they usually just want to replace the entire bathroom color scheme. This means entirely removing all fixtures and wall tiles. It also entails installing new wall finishes including wall and floor tiles (normally marble or ceramic). We also typically install all new bathroom fixtures such as a new soaking tub with jets or enlarge the shower area with full height glass doors. We can also enlarge the sink area by installing a nice cultured marble top or granite. We'll then brighten the bathroom area with installation of lights and mirrors.

Decks

Decking materials have come a long way in the past few years. In the past, you only had one choice: treated deck with treated decking. Now there are many varieties of PVC decking materials available. There are plastics of every imaginable color and texture which will neither warp nor discolor. With these high tech deck construction materials, you will never have to paint or stain your deck again. And, if you have young children who like to go bare foot in the summer time, you won't have to worry about splinters either.

Sun Porches

Hartman contractors have completed several sun porch projects over the past couple years. Most people who like to sit outdoors until the late evening find that closing in their deck with a roof and screen panels gives them the open air feeling that they enjoy without the bugs that can make life miserable.
